Wellington Community Food is a farm situated in Wellington, Somerset.
Incorporated as a Community Benefit Society in 2022, we operate on a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model and use regenerative farming practices.
Situated in the beautiful, newly created ‘Green Corridor’ between Wellington and Rockwell Green, we broke the ground and had our first harvest in 2023, providing weekly veg boxes to our 17 crop-share members.
In our first growing season we harvested over 2 tonnes of vegetables and distrubuted 414 veg boxes. Around 400 people have visited the farm and we have had over 50 volunteer sessions.
Set within a rich agricultural landscape, Wellington is well placed to grow much of its own food using regenerative farming practices to enhance biodiversity and rebuild soil health.
